We had a XXXX XXXX XXXX on our rental for years. We used the service a few times and any expenses or monthly costs were automatically paid by a valid credit card on file. Services had not been used in the last year and no notification of outstanding debt was ever sent.
After we did much work to our rental, we decided this home warranty policy was no longer needed.
XX/XX/XXXX - I went to the vendors website per their annual renewal notification and put in writing ( via their email contact system ) that I no longer need the policy, no errors were given but a confirmation was not also received.
XX/XX/XXXX - I called the company via their Customer Service and asked them if they processed my cancellation that was due to renew on XXXX. I spoke with XXXX XXXX and he checked everything and saw a service fee of {$75.00} that he checked our history and no work had been performed that would warrant an outstanding fee and was unable to reference it to anything. He went to clear the charge and then it changed to a cancellation fee on the description. He was unable to clear the charge and said he never saw that happen before. He told me he would be sending the issue to someone internally for he did not have the ability to override the charge.
XX/XX/XXXX - I received a confirmation that my XXXX XXXX policy was in fact cancelled as of XX/XX/XXXX ( day of autorenewal ) via email, even though we spoke on the phone XX/XX/XXXX about unsuccessfully trying to cancel it prior. I responded and overviewed my conversation with XXXX.
XX/XX/XXXX - Received a debt collector notice from Nationwide credit Inc. basically trying to collect. I was out of the country and literally returned the day after they said I had to respond ( XX/XX/XXXX ).
I have not contacted either company since this is well documented and they just need to fix their system to reverse the bogus cancellation charge. Please contact me directly if you would like to get copies of anything I have collected. I have read other complaints on how this company preys on older people and makes cancelling their services impossible.

I had a XXXX XXXX card from XXXX while in the XXXX from XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX. I obtained the credit cards for furniture and retail in XX/XX/XXXX. I paid all my bills on time and if I wasn't able to, there are several programs in place to help, and I used all of them. When I departed the service in XX/XX/XXXX, I asked that my cards be " shut off '' and my accounts " closed. '' I believe it was in writing as they asked me to for my protection. I didn't have work, and no where to go when I got out with my wife and XXXX kids, so I took my family and went to school. I ignored my bills for about three months while I moved, filed XXXX claims, started school, got a part time job, etc. I was also on public benefits and unemployment. I lived like that for the next two years of automotive school. I pulled my own credit report and found that I was in terrible shape. I made a list, called all of my creditors, made my case, and started paying them off, higher interest, smaller amounts first. I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to figure out a way to pay down my debt. When I left the service, I owed {$7800.00} between two lines of credit. I spoke with their collections department and they wanted me to pay $ XXXX. I worked for $ XXXX part time at XXXX 's XXXX parts, and was on EBT ( public aid ). I asked about other options and they said I could make 6 minimum due payments which started at 3 months worth of overdue payments at penalty APR OF 20 %, then five more minimum payments and they would drop the penalty APR and accept a smaller payment. The original contract allows them to charge a penalty APR indefinitely, compounded over time. I just couldn't come up with that kind of money. We tried combining those payments together and dividing it by six, and it was still something like {$500.00} / month. Still too much, I told them I would just pay what I could when I could. Next I get a notification that my tax return would be garnished. And so it was, XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX they took my tax return. XX/XX/XXXX they received {$3600.00}. Then I don't remember what happened, but I didn't hear anything for several months. I don't see anything due on my XXXX statement. I ignored that account and focused on others. Then I went through my credit report again in XXXX. My debt had climbed to {$10000.00}. They attempted to take my tax return again, but instead my return went to California child support for my wife 's child support bill- and that's an even crazier story. Then I was was offered a job I couldn't refuse and quit school in XX/XX/XXXX. A couple months of moving and the family mayhem, and it's XXXX. Again. I made contact with XXXX, and they had sold the debt to someone else. I got I touch with them. I started paying off all my smaller debts and now have no derogatory marks. I guess XXXX gave my account to TSI. By now, in spite of taking all my tax returns, my bill was {$19000.00}. I paid all but {$4000.00} before I got out, and now owed almost {$20000.00} on an original debt of {$7800.00}. I made contact with TSI and started paying {$300.00} / month for the last ten months. So now I've paid more than the original debt- less interest and collection fees, and owe a remainder of {$17000.00} of interest that is compounding monthly at my original penalty interest rate of 20 %. I recognize my fault in all of this. As a oung XXXX with a huge family I screwed up badly trying to survive. I have paid off debts non-stop for the last 7 years since getting out of the XXXX in the amount of roughly {$40000.00}. I have {$38000.00} in student loan debt that is on an income based repayment plan. I have asked to have that interest rate lowered to my original contract amount, and have not even gotten a response. I'm angry at this point. I'm doing my best to pay this debt, but the amount of interest they are charging is criminal. TSI is keeping both of my accounts open, one for each credit card, and billing me for two accounts. I asked why they wouldn't let me pay off one for {$2000.00} and get it off my credit report, and they said they can allocate my payments between each account as they see fit. That's great. I have to pay a CRIMINAL AMOUNT OF INTEREST on a debt to someone who did nothing to earn the money ( no services rendered to me ), and I get to pay their {$45.00} fee to XXXX twice per monthly payment. I feel this is unfair, but have not found any real legal cause to take up arms. I've read my original contract, my current credit reports from FTC.gov, and the US code regarding fair credit reporting and debt collection. My original contract States that a penalty APR can be imposed indefinitely, or until 6 consecutive " minimum payments due '' are paid, then the penalty APR reverts to the original app of 6.99 %. I feel like I've paid enough to warrant a lower rate. I don't know what else to do. Hire a lawyer? More debt? I'm just being exploited, robbed, outright stolen from. It can't be right.

On XXXX/XXXX/15 I paid Transworld Systems Inc. for an old military debt on my XXXX XXXX Card for the amount of {$3700.00}. I had a garnishment on my paycheck prior to that and on XX/XX/XXXX {$500.00} was garnished, and again on XX/XX/XXXX my pay was garnished for {$240.00}. I have contacted Transworld Systems Inc for the overpayment and have still not received my overpayment refund and can not get an answer to when and if it will be refunded. I also contacted the XXXX XXXX XXXX card and the balances between the collection agency and the debtor do not match. Transworld has been very hard to deal with and the XXXX XXXX put me on hold for an hour when I requested a manager. I 'm very frustrated with the XXXX agencies and would like for them to contact each other, figure out my overpayment, and refund me immediately, I have paystubs that can verify the garnishment as well as the wire transfer from my bank when I paid the debt off.

I was struggling with my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) student loans ( XXXX XXXX loans for {$8500.00} each for college. ) and unfortunately, used my XXXX time deferment previously. Every time I call and ask what my options are, they say there is nothing they can do.I received a letter dated XX/XX/2022 saying that XXXX will consider wage garnishment and I may dispute the decision and have 60 days from the date of the letter. ( Payoff amount : {$24000.00} ). A day later, I receive a letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX dated XX/XX/2022, stating that they are a debt collector attempting to collect on my student loans and their number is {$28000.00}. How can they say I have 60 days to respond but have already transferred the debt over to a collection company who has tacked on {$4600.00} 3 days prior? Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated seeing as how Im just struggling to survive.

Upon inspection of my credit report, I found charges adding up to {$600.00} abouts. XXXX XXXX Idaho, aka TransWorld Systems, is also reporting that I owe them. Problem with that is I have tried reaching out for them to fix their mistake as my service kept getting cut off. They say it's withing guidelines of me oweing them. XXXX is who should be taking care of that not me. I had XXXX service but stopped when was security breeches on my account four times at least.

I recently obtained a copy of my credit report and seen that the company XXXX XXXX is on my report and they keep changing my balance to make it look as if I have been making payments to them, and the truth is I have not because I was unaware that they were even on my report. So I have written the company 2 times and have not received a response from them with documentation about the information that they are reporting on my credit report. I have asked them to send me something about the information that they are reporting and something with my signature. The first letter that I sent our was on XXXX and I waited 30 days and did not receive any documentation from this company nor did they update my credit report as disbuted. So I sent them another letter on XXXX, and today is XXXX and I have still not received any information from this company, nor have they marked my credit report. However they have posted as if I have made a XXXX payment for the months of XXXX, XXXX and XXXX of XXXX, which in fact I have not made any payment to them because I am unaware as to what this account is and if it s truly even my account. They then tried to sue my brother in law because they attached him to this loan, but did not send me any notiication about the law suite . And this was after the statue of limitation had passed to be able to sue him or myself for that matter.

I have contacted the agency TSI/XXXX which whom my debt is associated with several times and have not gotten answers or have been able to pay this debt off. Below is an email that I sent to the company that bounced back as one of their employees gave me a fake email address. I have tried to speak with supervisors on several occasions and below are the times I have called. No one will let me pay off or address this debt at all. I have been contacting them now for over a month!
Dear whomever this may concern, My name is XXXX XXXX XXXX. I currently have an open debt with XXXX XXXX Hospital of {$2500.00}. They have passed on this debt to your collection agency. I have tried to reach out to your establishment on multiple occasions and have not gotten the answers or assistance I needed.
I first contacted your company three weeks ago on XX/XX/XXXX. On this day I spoke to a man about settling my debt at {$1800.00}. He told me he needed to confirm with the hospital and for me to contact him again the following week. I then tried to contact him again, and no one answered my call. A week ago I called to follow up again and the people I spoke with told me absolutely nothing about settling this debt. They told me they had not heard back from the hospital. I find it very hard to believe that the hospital has not gotten back to them in three weeks. I even offered two staff members to pay {$1000.00} and be done with this. One staff member even laughed at the situation when I was trying to express my concerns.
I demand to have my questions addressed and have this resolved. I am on the west coast so taking time out of my day to call your company that only has EST hours is very difficult.
I would AGAIN like to settle this debt immediately and can pay {$1000.00} at your earliest convenience. I can be contacted via phone at XXXX between XXXX EST. Please have a MANAGER contact me tomorrow XX/XX/2019. This is my fourth attempt at trying to pay this debt.
