An operator who is a certified food protection manager is more likely to follow food safety and sanitation best practices. Please visit the FSS webpage at: http://dec.alaska.gov/eh/fss/Training.html to obtain information on training and trainers throughout the state. The Person in Charge (PIC) will ensure that someone at the facility signs up for a CFPM exam by 8/15/22.
