| Inspector Comments | The facility did not have a certified food protection manager. An operator who is a certified food protection manager is more likely to follow food safety and sanitation best practices. Please visit the FSS webpage at: http://dec.alaska.gov/eh/fss/Training.html to obtain information on training and trainers throughout the state. The Person in Charge (PIC) will ensure that someone at the facility signs up for a CFPM exam by 1/30/23. The PIC will send a copy of the CFPM to DEC Food Safety and Sanitation Program once it is obtained they can email it to krista.weydahl@alaska.gov. |

| Inspector Comments | The sanitizing bleach spray bottle was at 200+ppm. Failure to use sanitizers at the proper concentrations could result in injury to employees and the consumer. Person in Charge (PIC) remade the spray bottle to 100ppm and agreed to start filling the three compartment sink to 100ppm and fill all sanitizing spray bottles from there to ensure all bottles are at the proper concentration. Facility was using the wrong test strips and agreed to obtain the proper test strips for testing the bleach santizer. EPA Reg No 5813-111 |
