Complaint What Happened I recently received an automated and very scammy sounding voicemail claiming that I have an outstanding debt in collections with Direct Recovery Services, LLC., that voicemail directed me to their website to pay a balance of {$1600.00} A family member also received a semi-robotic voicemail with the same information, and notified me of it. I have requested that they provide me with verification of any debt which they claim to be owed by me, and likewise have notified them that I am filing a complaint with the consumer financial protection bureau. Further I insisted that they cease and desist from contacting any other parties and harassing my family about this alleged - and false - debt, lest I initiate legal action against them.
