Employees must wear gloves when handling ready to eat food to prevent contamination of food items that can lead to foodborne illness. The employee washed their hands and donned gloves and the person in charge agreed to train staff on proper glove use. A guidance document on bare hand contact will be attached to this inspection report that can be used as a training tool. |
| Inspector Comments | Chicken Barley Soup was observed tightly wrapped with condensation in a 5 gallon container at 50.1F after cooling for 19 hours. Food must cool from 135F to 70F within 2 hours and from 70F to 41F within an additional 4 hours to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria and pathogens that can cause foodborne illness. The person in charge voluntarily discarded the soup. The person in charge agreed to pour soup into smaller containers to cool, use an ice wand, and monitor cooling temperatures with a thermometer. |

Staff must wash hands in the handwashing sink only to prevent cross contamination of bacteria and pathogens that can make someone ill. The employee was instructed to wash their hands in the handwashing sink and the person in charge agreed to provide more training on proper handwashing. A guidance document on handwashing will be attached to this inspection report that can be used as a training tool. |

A spray bottle with a blue substance was observed unlabeled on the shelf below the window. Unlabeled toxic chemicals can be mistaken for food additives and can make someone ill if ingested. The person in charge labeled both spray bottles with a sharpie marker and agreed to keep all chemicals labeled. |
