The operator identified the crab as being purchased from "Crab Alaska" who has the crab custom processed at the permitted facility "Pacific Seafoods" in Wrangell. Foods not processed by the owner of the establishment, must be labeled with the identify, ingredients, and any other identifying information about the source of the product for recall purposes and to help prevent foodborne illness or injury. The operator states the unlabeled crab product will not be sold to the public and will ensure that seafood is always labeled adequately. |
